Disney Wonder route in Alaska
Alaska - the last frontier
From glaciers to whale watching, the 49th state is something to behold

In August 2024, we did a 7-night Alaskan cruise... and it was nothing short of spectacular.

I have let you know what we did on our trip.

  • If you booked with me, I will (or have) provided you with your itinerary, which has links to all the Disney Cruise Line Port Adventures for your ports of call.

This summer, the Disney Wonder will once again visit ports of call in Alaska, and guests on board will experience all the grandeur of this majestic land paired with the magic of Disney for one EPIC adventure. Set sail with us in the video below for a look at the natural splendor and adventurous spirit of an Alaskan sailing with Disney Cruise Line.

A Look at the City of Vancouver

A brief look at the city of Vancouver in British Columbia, Canada. Much of the video was filmed around the port of Vancouver including locations like Granville Island, Stanley Park, Downtown, and more.

Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
A post-cruise tour of Vancouver and the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
This can ONLY be booked on board

We had a late flight out of the Vancouver International Airport.

  • Disney Cruise Line does offer a post-cruise Port Adventure in Vancouver - Port Adventure VC01 - Northwest Exploration & Capilano Suspension Bridge - Debarkation Day;
  • As the name implies, it gives you a bus tour of Vancouver and then takes you to the majestic Capilano Suspension Bridge Park
  • The bus takes you on a bus tour of Vancouver, including the Gaslight District and Vancouver's Chinatown;
  • You then make a stop at the Capilano Suspension Bridge Park. The current suspension bridge crosses a deep gorge of the Capilano River and is 450 feet long. Designed for walking use only, the bridge will sway as you head across towards the far side. (I'm not a fan of heights but this did not bother me at all.) Once across you will follow a progressive series of platforms that wind their way along the primordial forest of British Columbia. Keep an eye out for various species of birds and other wildlife that live in the woods surrounding the trails. Touristy - YES - Amazing - YES - Worth a visit - For us, absolutely.
  • After enjoying this magnificent attraction for about an hour, re-board your transportation and end your tour at Vancouver International Airport.
  • Guests booking these tours should have departing flights no earlier than 3:00 PM.
  • LUGGAGE - You load your bags into the bus, so they are secure and you don't have to worry about them. #Awesome
  • PRO-TIP - You can ONLY book this onboard, and they will only do it if you have enough people.
